July

The month of July came and went so quickly!

July 4th started out rainy, so we headed to the movie theatre and spent the remainder of the day with friends.

Daddy built the kids a swingset!
The kids and I headed to Mimi and Papa's house for a week.  Our intentions were to get in some good visits with grandmama and our cousins, but unfortunately, a crazy stomach bug hit everyone so we pretty much just stayed at the house.  We still had some great one on one time with Mimi and Papa (and somehow Papa avoided the bug!).

We did meet up with cousins at ChickFilA to get some free chicken!!

We hosted an outdoor movie night with a few neighbor friends.  We watched Monsters Inc. and ate popcorn!  It was such a fun night!

Caroline in her "Little House" night cap!

We spent many mornings at Six Flags and White Water.  We loved meeting up with friends at both parks this summer!!

One weekend, we had a little family outing.  We visited Cabela's and a nearby wakeboarding park.

Our church property sold! This was the last Sunday at our building.

Anna Claire has really gotten interested in "dress up" these days.  She is almost always wearing a pair of high heel shoes!

It's crazy to think that summer is coming to an end and school days are almost here!!

June

We stayed so busy the month of June....
We started off with our Hayes' Family Camping trip, which deserved a post all of it's own.

More Highlights:

It got extremely hot this month, so outdoor play usually involved water.

We visited White Water several times a week.

Grandma and Pops came for a quick visit.

Father's Day

Vacation Bible School

Me and the kids visited with Mimi and Papa on their church mission trip in Lavonia, GA.

Grayson decided to ride his bike without training wheels!!!

no training wheels!!

Our last day of VBS--they requested donuts for breakfast.
