A Day at the Beach

We headed to the beach one morning.
The kids had the best time running around and playing in the sand!

Anna Claire is not walking yet on her own.  We can sometimes get her to take a few steps while holding her hand...
then she drops to her knees.
She loves walking on her knees.

Anna Claire saw birds in the distance and started taking off towards them (on her knees)...

Caroline was so upset, crying and chasing after her.
I thought this picture of the 2 of them was so sweet.

Christmas with the Hayes

This year, we spent most of our time with the Hayes family.  It was extra special this year because grandmother was able to be with us.

Grayson was helping her put on her new socks...he's such a sweetheart.

And we were spoiled with more gifts...

the kids had so much fun with their cousins...

Grayson has started reading, so he had to read a few books for Pops.

This is one blessed grandmother! This is not even half of her great-grandkids!!

They were surprised to find a few more presents from Santa under the tree on Christmas morning!

I just love this sweetness...they are resting on grandma's bed.

We had so much fun spending lots of time with Grandma, Pops, and Grandmother!
Many sweet memories were made this Christmas!!

Christmas with the Trammells

Since we travel for the holidays, Christmas seems to never end...we have Christmas at our home, Christmas at Mimi and Papa's, Christmas at Grandma and Pop's, and then we arrive back home and it seems to be Christmas all over again because they've been away from their new toys for a week!

We started our travels by heading to Mimi and Papa's house for a few days.
As always, our time was filled with excitement as we got to visit with cousins.

More gifts...

The kids were also real excited to give gifts to our family this year--
Grayson drew a picture for Papa--
Papa and his tractor.

Anna Claire came down with a stomach virus one night and it was terrible.  But thankfully she seemed fine the next day.

As always, we had a music session with Mimi...

and Grayson put on a Nutcracker performance.

Mimi always works so hard to make our time together extra special and it truly is! We are so thankful for another Christmas full of sweet memories!
