Anna Claire's First Birthday

 

Since everyone was already together at the beach for a week, we decided to go ahead and have a little birthday celebration for Anna Claire.

Grayson drew her a sweet card:

"Happy Birthday. I love you Anna Claire.

I love you because you are my new sister."

 

 

 

 

Birthday Girl!

 This time last year, I was 9 months pregnant and at the beach! She was born the weekend after we returned home.  Good timing!!

 

 

Her first real baby doll...

 

 

And then of course we had to celebrate again once we were back home on her actual birthday--September 15!!

 

 

She has been such a JOY to our family.  She LOVES life and is happy almost all of the time!  She has so much personality and brings a smile to us all!!

Thank you Lord for this precious blessing!!

 

Pawley's Island 2014

 

 
 
 

We recently returned from our family beach trip to Pawley's Island.

This was our playground for the week... 



 

The kids had so. much. fun.

We hit the beach by 9am each morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We never made it very far on our evening walks.

But it didn't matter...

 

 

We ended each evening with a Bible Story and coloring page for the kids.

And then they crashed for the night.

It may be hard to see, but he was so proud!
This child has become quite the fisherman!
I am amazed at how he catches fish all by himself!

 

 

The guys spent most of their days fishing.

Thankfully, they did pretty well and we had more flounder than we could eat by the end of the week.

 

 

During our "inside times" the girls spent most of their time being "mommies".

We caught several crabs to add to our fish dinner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We look forward to this week all summer and it never disappoints.

We are so thankful for our family and all of the memories we have together.
