Pawley's Island 2014

 

 
 
 

We recently returned from our family beach trip to Pawley's Island.

This was our playground for the week... 



 

The kids had so. much. fun.

We hit the beach by 9am each morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We never made it very far on our evening walks.

But it didn't matter...

 

 

We ended each evening with a Bible Story and coloring page for the kids.

And then they crashed for the night.

This child has become quite the fisherman!
I am amazed at how he catches fish all by himself!

 

 

The guys spent most of their days fishing.

Thankfully, they did pretty well and we had more flounder than we could eat by the end of the week.

 

 

During our "inside times" the girls spent most of their time being "mommies".

We caught several crabs to add to our fish dinner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We look forward to this week all summer and it never disappoints.

We are so thankful for our family and all of the memories we have together.

AUGUST 2014

 

We spent our last month of summer staying around the house and taking advantage of a few pool play dates.

Just trying to stay cool.

 

I'm pretty sure this pacifier belonged to my little brother when he was a baby.  I used to play with it with my baby dolls and somehow it made it's way to my house! (Mimi saves everything!)

 We started

KINDERGARTEN!!

 

 

 

and PRESCHOOL!!

How great is it that she can do school in her princess dress?!!
She is one happy girl!

 

 

 

I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be home with my children and to homeschool them this year.  I am praying that their relationships with one another will grow as they spend so much time together.

 

The kids really seem to be loving it and are always asking to "do school".

 

 

We took our first field trip to the zoo!!

 

 

It is such a blessing to be their teacher and to know exactly what they're learning and to really incorporate it through their entire day.

 

 

And this little one, she keeps us busy in between her naps. 

And I can't even think about the fact that she will be ONE next month!!
