January 2014

I always look forward to the month of January--a fresh start to a new year, getting our lives back in order after the Christmas craziness and travels, and just time spent being at HOME.
And that is exactly what we have done this month.
With temperatures being extremely frigid, we have rarely even made an attempt to get out of the house during the weekdays.

And now, looking back over the month, it was just FUN!  The kids stayed in their pajamas most days and they just PLAYED.

There have definitely been moments that we just needed to GET OUT,
but overall, keeping warm inside and snuggling with these kiddos was just what we all needed.

Seriously, these days are just FLYING by and I'm trying to hang on to every precious second!

We do have some excitement going on!  Our porches are being built!  So hopefully, all of this staying inside will be well worth it in the spring when we can get out and enjoy our  new front and back porches!!

Oh yeah, and daddy has been home with us most days this month supervising the construction, so that has probably been most of the reason why I have kept my sanity!!
We have been super spoiled by his presence!!

Hayes Family Christmas

We had a great visit with the Hayes family.
Once again, we were spoiled.
The kids enjoyed their time with cousins.  We haven't visited with Noah, Sophie, and Lyla since the beginning of September.

And a much-needed photo shoot was accomplished...

Grandma made all the kids' matching outfits---so sweet!

Such a fun visit--thanks Grandma and Pops!!

After a week of visiting, we were finally headed home.
Needless to say, we were all pooped and ready to get home and bring in the new year(and clean up our Christmas mess)!

The Lord has truly blessed our family this year and we give Him all the glory!
We are so thankful for the gift that He gave us by sending His Son to be our one and only Savior!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Trammell Family Christmas

We spent the first few days of our travel in Clinton with the Trammells.
As always, we were spoiled and came away with many precious memories.

A new baby!!!

and a new fort!!!

Thank you Mimi and Papa!
                                                             Such sweet memories!!

Now they are pooped and ready to travel another 3 hours to visit the Hayes' family!
