Easter Weekend 2014

We spent Easter weekend in Clinton with the Trammell families.
Uncle Willy and Aunt Bonnie were there with their littles and Uncle Andrew and Aunt Sarah joined us all the way from Nashville.
Such a fun and rare occasion for all of us to be together!

It was such a beautiful day to spend celebrating the resurrection of our LORD!

"But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

Andrew and Sarah are so gracious to spend most of their time playing with the children.  And the kids LOVE every single minute!

Grayson got to take his first tractor ride.

Daddymac and Grandmama joined us for most of the day.

Anna Claire got lots of snuggles!

We also had a birthday celebration for these 2 special girls while we were all together.
 More pics to come....

Caroline is 3!!

Today we celebrated Caroline's 3rd birthday!
The weather could not have been more beautiful, so we had a little family tea party on our new front porch.

and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our special little girl.

Sweet Caroline.

She requested Chick Fil A for dinner.

She is the BEST little 3 year old "mommy" that I have ever known!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our SWEET CAROLINE!!
WE LOVE YOU!!

Spring

We are super excited about this fresh new season and what it will bring!
We are already spending much of our days outside.

Kicking balls, pulling wagons, strolling babies, bonding with little critters for the day (we've already become really great friends with an inchworm named "Walker").
I just LOVE it!

Looking forward to many more days of SPRING!
 Bring on the sunshine!

The Every Day

So ever since I realized that my oldest "baby" would be 5 this year, I have been HIT HARD. Hit hard with the realization that my "babies" are growing.....QUICKLY...like everyone has been telling me for the past 5 years.

But somehow I have been caught up in the ho-hum of everyday...
Feed.......Laundry...Clean Up...Laundry...preschool....clean up...Feed...Laundry...Cook Dinner... Baths... Bedtime...

Just caught up in the STUFF.  The UNIMPORTANT things that in the end, don't really matter.

And it has made me so SAD.  So sad to think that these/those moments are here and GONE----these babies will continue to GROW and there is nothing I can do to stop it.

It's LIFE and it is beautiful but how I am going to MISS these PRECIOUS days.

THESE days when we have nothing to do but stay home ALL day.
Take neighborhood walks whenever we want to.
Playdates with friends.
It is MY DREAM and I am LIVING it!
Thank you LORD!!

One day I grabbed my camera and just started shooting trying to capture these LITTLE moments that happen DAILY that I never want to forget....

This is LIFE.  This is what our EVERYDAY looks like.

It melts my heart EVERYDAY.

Let's be realistic...this is also everyday.

MESSES that seem to be never-ending.  I snapped this picture right after I took the pics of those sleeping beauties.
Yep, plenty of MESSES around here.

But it is so worth it.
So. Worth. It.

And now my youngest babe is 6 months.  6 MONTHS!!  That's halfway to a year!!!

The Lord has been so GRACIOUS to give us these children.
I PRAY that they will be best friends.
They already ADORE one another.
I am so THANKFUL that I get to watch their FRIENDSHIPS blossom.

I PRAY that I will never take these LONG days for granted, but always be THANKFUL and always pay attention to the little, sweet moments.
